The William Bernard McCloud Community Impact Fund supports CCGF’s annual competitive Community Impact grant cycle, providing funding to nonprofit organizations serving Glynn, Camden, and McIntosh Counties. Through this fund, CCGF invests in initiatives that address some of Coastal Georgia’s most pressing needs—from education and the environment to health and housing—connecting people who care with causes that matter.

Named in Bernard’s honor in 2024 following his passing, the William Bernard McCloud Community Impact Award is a tribute to his enduring commitment to service and philanthropy. As a former CCGF Board member and dedicated Community Impact Committee (CIC) member, Bernard McCloud served his community with distinction and purpose. His leadership helped shape the Foundation’s mission and continues to inspire its work today.

In recognition of his lasting philanthropic impact, CCGF has installed a permanent award wall in its Brunswick office as a reminder of Bernard’s hard work and the community he helped strengthen. Contributions to this fund go directly to the annual competitive award cycle. CCGF hopes this fund and the awards that come from it reflect the best aspects of the Foundation and the community that Bernard helped build and shape, ensuring that the work we do is "For Good, Forever".
